Developed during 2010 with the help of Cervelo test team, and ridden to World cup success by Thor Hushvold in october 2010. The oversize 30mm axle provides massive lateral and torsional stiffness, combined with weight reduction (470grms).
Innovations include a new High precision lockring for BB pre load and adjustment.

3D is stiff enough for Thor Hushvold's Green jersey success in this years TDF and light enough to satisfy the needs of Carlos Sastre and the climbers on the team.
Utilizing the Trinity Drilling Process, an extruded aluminum bar is intricately CNC machined at the ROTOR Factory. The result is a unique triple hollow crank arm that enables ROTOR’s engineers to remove the excess aluminum in the core while still maintaining the structural strength of the crank.
3D Axle is compatible with standard Shimano, FSA etc BB.

Weight 546grms (175mm Steel Axle)
Titanium axle options offers superior stiffness torsionally between the crank arms and is 75grms lighter.
